The Call Box Art Project was funded by the District of Columbia’s Cultural Tourism Office, and promoted locally by the Sixteenth St. Civic Association.
These Val Lewton designed Call Boxes celebrate the relationship between the Sixteenth Street neighborhood with the Rock Creek Public Golf Course and the Carter Barron Tennis Courts. Many thanks to George Koch and Garret Strang for their help in implementing the project.
